Former midwife Laura Brett says she has been called an ‘anti-vaxxer’ and ‘conspiracy theorist’. Here she explains how asking questions led to her personal conviction that no one should have been pressured into taking the Covid-19 vaccine.

It was announced last week that AstraZeneca are, finally, withdrawing their Covid-19 vaccine worldwide, months after the pharmaceutical giant admitted in court documents that it can cause dangerous side effects such as fatal blood clots.

I say, finally, because for the past three and a half years I have been helping others to expose the truth and fight against what I believe will become one of the biggest medical frauds in history.

The ’safe and effective’ narrative was continually pushed by numerous authorities and official spokespersons, such as TV ‘expert’ doctors and the mainstream media, and millions of people across the world put their trust, their bodies and their health into their hands.

As a former midwife, and strong advocate for bodily autonomy and informed consent, I could see that the strong coercion and push for everyone to get vaccinated just didn’t make sense.

  • What happened to natural immunity?

  • How can having a vaccine possibly give others protection from a virus?

  • What about traditional therapeutic treatments, did they not count anymore?

I started to listen to other experts in the field; scientists, doctors, lawyers and politicians around the world who didn’t agree with the official narrative and had very strong concerns about the products being offered.

I started to listen to other experts in the field; scientists, doctors, lawyers and politicians around the world who didn’t agree with the official narrative and had very strong concerns about the products being offered. They were being silenced, smeared, threatened by coordinated groups, de-platformed and lost their jobs for speaking out in opposition.

I got brave and started to speak out too.

Immediately, I felt the attacks from friends, family and colleagues who thought I was spreading misinformation and causing undue distress and upset to everyone around me. I was frequently called a ’conspiracy theorist’ and an ‘anti-vaxxer’ and I’m neither of those two things.

I was heavily vaccinated as a midwife in the NHS (vaccine injured myself in 2010), and I chose to give my children their childhood vaccinations. I have since changed my opinion on that. I also believe it’s important to ask questions, to critically think about important things that could affect our health and wellbeing.

But why wouldn’t anybody listen?

I was concerned at why the Church was not impartial. Instead, it capitulated with the Government and the official state narrative at large. Some people in leadership actively encouraged their congregants to be vaccinated and made their opinions clear about those who chose not to be. It was also evident that the vaccines were made using fetal cell lines and yet, it was impossible to apply for an exemption based on religious grounds.

In fact, it was virtually impossible to get an exemption at all.

The world seemed to go mad.

This experience led me to write a book about my whole journey called Losing Liberty Finding Freedom.

At the Harrogate Filling Station, we offered a place where people could come and worship and be prayed for, often feeling ostracised from their own churches and communities.  It was wonderful to see so many become followers in Christ because of it all, including those on the frontline such as doctors, scientists, media personnel and sportsmen, and it has been a joy to walk with many of them on that journey.

In October 2023, we gathered 100 church leaders, heads of charities and other prominent people in the Houses of Parliament to worship, pray and provide evidence-based information about the truth concerning Covid-19 and the vaccination programme.  It was hosted and introduced by Andew Bridgen MP who has been a leading spokesman in Parliament on this issue and who has recently become a Christian himself.

We all felt a momentum shift on that day and over the subsequent months. God’s people deserve to know the truth, and then a time of repentance, healing, grace and forgiveness can finally begin across the world.

2 Timothy 1:7 says that he has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and sound mind.  Amen!

We now have a growing, worldwide ministry for those seeking the truth, wanting to live in freedom without fear, and we regularly pray for healing and deliverance for the vaccine injured and those traumatised by the events of the past few years.
