A message from Doll
It feels like ages ago now, but it was so lovely to meet so many of you at Spring Harvest in Minehead and now that we are halfway through the year, I’m reflecting on where God is positioning Woman Alive for “such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). We are already well known for pushing the boundaries on conversations not necessarily being had in other parts of the Church and, while this remains key to our message and brand, I also want to keep pushing for content that you need most.
I’m writing this while sitting in the sun on my balcony and thanking God for a new season as well as all the wonderful connections that have been made in the five years since Premier took on Woman Alive. If you are new here – welcome! I do hope you will check out the other parts of this wonderful community of Christian women, which includes our social media accounts – WomanAliveUK on Instagram and X – the book club on Facebook (see details below), the website at womanalive.co.uk and the ‘Woman Alive’ podcast.
In the new season of the podcast, I host conversations on why God heals some people and not others, internalised misogyny and whether we need Christian ‘influencers’. My guests usually include the author of an article we’ve recently published, alongside someone who might have a different opinion on the same topic. We release a new episode each Monday so subscribe wherever you listen and enjoy hearing from the people who write the content you love to read!
Love and blessings,
Editor + Creative Director
