Season four of The Chosen is about the cost of being a true disciple of Jesus Christ, says Stephanie Pena. Despite a previous Woman Alive writer explaining why she would not watch the series, after going to the premier, Stephanie says you will be ‘moved, touched and transformed in some way’, and we should all go and watch it.
Standing in Leicester square, surrounded by images of Jesus and his disciples on the large screens, I couldn’t help but smile seeing how God makes the impossible possible. Knowing of this show’s crowd funded, humble beginnings from Director Dallas Jenkins, it feels like quite a landmark moment for The Chosen as season four premiers in London. Look at what God can do when his holy people get together, with their gifts, and step out in faith to bring the life of Christ to the cinema.
