Vanessa Maynard
Vanessa Maynard is a Ukraine programme officer for Christian Aid. She has visited the country several times since the invasion began and spent time with local aid workers helping people whose lives have been devastated by the war.
Christian Aid works through churches and local community groups and our support is based on their priorities. Thanks to the generous donations to the Ukraine Appeal, Christian Aid and its partners have been able to fund a range of support: from emergency shelter and lorryloads of food to baby incubators and mobile medical teams.
