Imagine you could hear God speaking to you all of the time, sharing His thoughts and wisdom with you and guiding you throughout each day. How might life look different?
Growing up I had no idea that God actually spoke to me and wanted to! Learning this skill of hearing His voice and everything available to us in Him is life changing and one of the most incredible experiences. I would love to take you on this exciting journey and share everything with you that I’ve learnt.
God told me to write a devotional book (available here) with a focus on hearing His voice and being the person He called you to be, breaking free from any limitations to live in your destiny. He sometimes interrupted my plan for that day to get a different message to you!
It contains encouragement, tips and advice on how to hear God’s voice, see more in the spirit, interpret your dreams and prophecy just to name a few. There are many practical tips and activations, such as discovering the meaning of your name and shaking off negative core beliefs to be the incredible and unique person you are.
It includes over 70 song suggestions you can look up and listen to, exciting stories and testimonies, insights into the original Hebrew and Greek and teaching and advice from some well-known Christian leaders who gave permission for these to be included. Each day contains around 1 page to read and a couple of related Bible verses to meditate on. There are a few pages for journaling or drawing and questions for reflection each month. It is easy to read and whether you are a visual, auditory or a movement person there is something for you!
In my training as a Clinical Psychologist, I learnt some helpful tools and techniques and I have included as many as I could.
God loves you and He thinks you are amazing. He wants you to be free to be you and living your destiny but there are so many obstacles that can come along and try to hijack us and our path in life. My hope is that this book can help you to identify and avoid or break free from some of these things.
I know so well how challenging life can be, having faced so many long-term battles, trauma, sickness, loss and pain myself. Although these stories are not included, everything I have learnt from these challenges that has helped and encouraged me through my journeys to breakthrough is. I have huge empathy and compassion for anyone having a tough time. Some days you just need that word of encouragement to keep going, not to give up and to know that God is with you.
