
Joy Roxborough
Joy Roxborough is a trained journalist and a qualified social worker. While studying for her MA in Social Work, Joy published her debut children’s picture book, ‘I Wish I Were a Bird’ (2021), which went on to win a Lord Swraj Paul Award from the University of Wolverhampton. Joy has many years of writing experience for various community, charity and government publications in the UK and in the Caribbean, including Ascension Trust, Vine Magazine (now defunct), Keep the Faith magazine, and has also won several awards for her short stories, poetry and essays.
